The Rotary Club of Barnet & East Barnet will be holding a Gala Dinner Dance on Friday, 23rd November 7.00 for 7.30 p.m. at the Old Fold Golf Club, Barnet in aid of PODS. This is a self-help group for parents with Down's Syndrome children in the Barnet area. They hope that other north area Clubs will support this function. The Rotary Club of Southgate will be presenting Big Conchord Band in Concert on Saturday, 3rd November 2007 at the Bourne Methodist Church in Southgate. Ticket donation £12.50 with the proceeds going to Noah's Ark Children's Hospice, Palmers Green Cancer Care Centre, Disadvantaged Children's School in Cyprus and the Enfield Mayor's Charity.
