Pitch your project at District Conference

An innovation at conference this year, during the question and answer session on Saturday afternoon, is a short ‘pitching’ session.  If your club has an exciting & original new project that could use input from other clubs, let the conference committee know the proposal via Conference Chairman Wally K Daly (details in District Directory) and five clubs will be invited to make a four minute pitch on stage, not unlike an exciting commercial, ending by asking any club interested to contact their club in the week after conference. Because of time constraints only five will be picked, and no questions will be taken after the pitch – but if the idea proves to ‘Have legs’ it will also feature in the following years conference at a greater length.
