WORKING WITH WESTMINSTER CITY COUNCIL DURING THE OLYMPICS

Rotary has been just been offered the opportunity to work with the City Guides of Westminster during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.  The first request is to partner with a City Guide at one of 3 locations in Westminster on the day when the Torch Relay comes to the Borough: Thursday 26th July.  Rotarians would simply be assisting by offering directions to any visitors who ask for assistance.  We have been asked to meet at approximate 2.30pm and would be required through to approx 7pm. No prior training is required. It is recognised that this is the same date as the Rotary Boat Trip…however the opportunity is promoted for those who wish to get involved in the Olympics and had not planned to go on the boat trip.

The details for the Paralympics Torch Relay and Athletes Parades assistance will be distributed as soon as they are known.
Could you please contact: Rotarian Colleen Doyle – District Olympic Committee- asap for further details and to register your interest
