Any club with a new and original Idea that could use input from other clubs to get it off the ground, and would like to pitch the idea at Eastbourne conference on the Saturday afternoon heavy duty Rotary session in a three or four minute commercial – contact conference chairman Wally K Daly for one of the available four places.

Anyone attending conference who would like to invite further non Rotarian friends, is invited to simply print additional registration forms from the District Website and write ‘GUESTS!’ on the top and then fill it in as requested and send it off with the appropriate fee. An innovation at conference this year, during the question and answer session on Saturday afternoon, is a short ‘pitching’ session.  If your club has an exciting & original new project that could use input from other clubs, let the conference committee know the proposal via Conference Chairman Wally K Daly (details in District Directory) and five clubs will be invited to make a four minute pitch on stage, not unlike an exciting commercial, ending by asking any club interested to contact their club in the week after conference. Because of time constraints only five will be picked, and no questions will be taken after the pitch – but if the idea proves to ‘Have legs’ it will also feature in the following years conference at a greater length.
