Rotary is an international organisation of volunteers with a single goal.
In May 2015, we had 1.2m members in 34,500 Rotary Clubs in 206 Countries and geographical locations around the world. We have to say geographics locations, because there are Rotary Clubs in Antarctica which is not a country! We call our members Rotarians.
Our single goal is "The betterment of all mankind". We achieve that goal by undertaking a number of projects around the world. You can see our current and completed projects from around the world in our Rotary Project Showcase.
We have our own charity fund called the Rotary Foundation, and this fund provides grants which support some of the projects we undertake.
