Go back to Community & Vocational Service Welcome Page GUY's DAY as a Working Hearing Dog for Deaf People Welcome to this day in the life of Guy, District 1130's first working Hearing Dog for Deaf People. Here is a set of photographs of the first District 1130 dog who has a sponsor name of ‘Guy’. The new recipient of the Hearing Dog is Margot, who lives on the south coast, and she sent me a letter saying how delighted she was with him and what a difference he has already made to her life. She is a retired art teacher who still teaches in an Adult Education centre one day a week and teaches young children in her home. As you can imagine Guy is suitably spoilt. As I receive further reports I shall post them on the Community & Vocational area of the District web site. Immediate Past Community and Vocational Chairman Wally K Daly. |
