Rotary Dragon Boat Festival 16th May 2010 Royal Victoria Dock Watersport Centre Tidal Basin Road, London E16 1AD THE LONDON ROTARY DISTRICT 1130 DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL We are organising a Dragon Boat race on 16th May 2010 (Sunday) to enable Rotary Clubs and various Organisations to raise funds for their own chosen charities. The event will last from approx. 10am-3pm on a Sunday and includes several legs/rounds of racing, while there will be food and drink, (to buy or bring your own), a raffle, and entertainment especially for children. Limited Free Parking. The entry fee is £350 but for applications received before the 15th March 2010 a reduced fee of £300 is applicable. A £75.00 deposit secures a place. Boat Crews are normally limited to 18 rowers and one drummer (not essential) . If you are short of rowers and would like to join another crew, please contact Tony Sharma, Chairman, The 2010 Dragonboat Event Committee. If you want to take a stall, you will need to book it and the cost is £10.00.
