Rotary Stroke Awareness Day

Rotary Stroke Awareness & Health Day

We are hoping more and more clubs will want to take part in the annual Stroke Awareness Day. For 2013, it is intended the event will take place during the weekend of Saturday 20th April 2013.

It is not imperative that clubs stick to this weekend and should the date not be free in any club diary another weekend can always be arranged. The important thing is that as many clubs as possible take part! Should any club require help in organising their event all the material needed can be obtained from The Stroke Association website www.stroke.org.uk and tap in Rotary Stroke Day in the search panel for everything you need. Please also note that other organisations like The Diabetic Association, Cancer Research, Macmillan Cancer Support, Bowel Cancer and more are all prepared to supply leaflets for display at these events and these can be obtained via their websites, EVERY YEAR WE HAVE TAKEN PART WE HAVE SAVED LIVES - IT COULD BE YOURS!!!
